How to check voicemail on HTC Magic

have an HTC Magic phone with Rogers Canada. Feel like a goof because I don't know where to start in checking voice mail. Any help?

I'm surprised nobody has answered this one yet.

To check your voicemail, go to the dialer like you are going to make a phone call (the little phone icon on the bottom left side of the home screen) and hold down the number "1". After holding that down for a second it should automatically dial your voicemail.

Depending on the version of android you have running, you might also have a voicemail icon on that screen just to the left of the phone button that you press to make a call. It should look like a little tape deck.

And of course, if you have any new voicemails you haven't listened to yet, you should see a little voicemail icon in the top left side of your screen (in the area that has the clock and other icons). If you slide your finger from the top of the screen down, that area will expand and show you any new notifications. You can press the one about your new voicemail to dial your voicemail.
