Question about
how's this thing pair with an ipad3?
i need a solution for someone who's especially technically challenged but loves the iPad. They listen to all sorts of stuff, but obviosly the iPad's speakers are insufficient. is this the one?
VERY GOOD. Have paired this with my own 3rd gen iPad and with my wife's. It's a cinch -- MUCH easier and quicker than pairing other speakers. The sound is fantastic for the size. I'm just annoyed that you can't pause or silence the Jambox on its own; you have to control it from the iPad. Other than this, it's a dream.
Also, be aware that pairing this with more than two devices is iffy. On vacation, we switch it among our two iPads and my iPhone 4s. This means I often need to re-pair it.
