how's the STM Scout Extra Small messenger bag as an ipad case? i know Ryan Block twittered that he had already had the bag. does anybody else have it?

also, for some reason the only 2 amazon reviews mention that the bag has an unpleasant odor (amzn.to/ccqLhZ). Any comments on that?

i'm choosing primarily between this or the booqbag taipan shado xs black (bit.ly/aHnnSZ)
