How's battery life on the Droid X2?

Android Central has already done an initial review, which you can see here: www.androidcentral.com/droid-x2-initial-review

The battery life is supposedly going to be better than the original Droid because of the dual-core processor.

CNET's review states this: "The Motorola Droid X2 features a qHD display and a dual-core processor for faster performance. The Android smartphone offers good call quality and battery life." That can be seen here: reviews.cnet.com/smartphones/motorola-droid-x2-ver...

So, things look good compared to the original Droid X.

Batteries are Batteries, 1540 is an ok size but until they develop something better, I always have an extra one or two & with dual core working faster than the DX, common sense says it will use more of the battery but the DX2 handles that problem & runs for a decent amount of time. I have no complaints.

Every Motorola android handset I have owned starts out usable, I tweak it until I get some substantial increases in battery performance but then it all but fizzles out. I get barely 6 hours of life now and I don't feel like my system is reporting accurate battery information. I did a root and a battery calibrate but that hasn't really improved anything.
