How durable is the MacBook Air?

It seems like the thin side of the computer could easily be bent through normal use on your lap. Has anyone bent their MacBook Air? How did you do it?

I'd say it is fairly durable and does not bend easily, but I would still highly recommend purchasing AppleCare as the MBA is not user serviceable and very expensive to repair without it. I think warranties are a good idea for most mobile devices. www.squaretrade.com/ is another option, especially for non Apple devices.
