Question about
How do you change the default location for screenshots in Lion.
I am not quite sure what is going on here.
I am entering: defaults write com.apple.screencapture location (then path to folder).
Then I am running: killall SystemUIServer.
This worked just fine in Snow Leopard but for some reason I can't get this to work in Lion.
Am I missing a step or 2. Any help is much appreciated.

I'd highly recommend downloading: secrets.blacktree.com/
It provides a UI for a lot of these terminal commands. Once you have installed it, access it from the preference app and then find Grab in the left nav. Edit your screen shot settings to your hearts desire.

Ok I guess you can't use a folder inside of your home folder. The documents folder worked just fine.
