How do you add icons for buttons?

I've seen a lot of stuff on how to add icons for favorite channels, but I can't find anything on how to add custom icons for soft buttons on the remote. Does anyone know how to do this, or if it's even possible?

Are you looking to add icons for favorite channels or add icons for a custom soft button such as "Back"?

I don't believe you can modify any custom buttons you add to the touch screen other than what they are named. For custom channel icons when you go to add in the channel there is an option to upload your own graphic. I'm going to recommend IconHarmony for finding custom channel icons. The channel selection is huge and it lets you pick the icons based on the device www.iconharmony.com/icons/home

You can actually add any button you want to on the soft buttons. I added a PVR and it did not have a delete button within the database so I created a completely new button and learnt it from my original remote.

If you make an account and register your remote on-line then you have an account. Log in to your account and plug the remote into your computer USB and you can customize everything. They also have a library of icons to choose from. You can also upload your own images for display as background or icons. Be careful to read the pixel size limits. Uploading large picture files get corrupted into coages of colors that are actually quite entertaining.
