I'm pretty sure that I've seen this setting somewhere, I just can't seem to find it again. Basically, when I get Twitter/Facebook/Email notifications it silences my music for a couple seconds. I'd like that to stop.

Are you sure that was there before, and not in a custom ROM? In my experience, the notifications have always interrupted stuff unless they were turned off.

there called notifications because there suppose to notify you, thats the whole point in them so why add the option to disable them? if you dont want them to go off put your phone on vibrate and listen to music or just turn your notification volume down

I know exactly what you mean here, the notifications should play over the top of your music right?
CyanogenMOD 7 supports this, but I doubt any stock Android does/would. Happy to be proven wrong as I am itching for this feature back again and haven't rooted yet!
