I must be missing something - it looks like I have my vibration turned aff according to my settings, but it still vibrates EVERY TIME I get an email, and I get toooo many. Any suggestions on what to check?
BTW I have the sprint Tour and Im about to update to the new OS via the desktop software.
I also have gmail mobile app installed as well.

Have you tried going into the Set Ring Tones/Alerts section? It's at the bottom of the list where you choose your ringer profile (Normal, Silent, Vibrate, etc). Once in the Set Ring Tones/Alerts menu, if you expand the Messages list, you should be able to set the ring tone and vibration function for email from there. As an IT guy at my work, I've had to do the same for others. If you are looking to get email notifications for only certain emails, you should be able to create a rule so that only those emails will vibrate and the rest will not.
