A 1 pixel gray line has appeared on my Kindle Keyboard Screen about 3/4 of the way down. It actually gets darker in the middle of the line and is a gradient to a lighter gray towards the edges. Either way, it has not gone away by putting it in and out of sleep mode, flipping pages, and holding the power switch for 20 seconds to reset the device.
The only thing that I don't think I have tried is updating to the latest software version (3.3). I am currently running 3.1 and I am hoping (though not optimistic) that this update will help the situation.
Have you ever had this happen? How did you fix it?

Well, try the software update but probably this will not fix it. You have to contact Amazon customer service and ask for a replacement.
