Application:

Hit Menu -> Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications. Give it some time to work before scrolling, mine on average takes about 15-20 seconds to allow me to scroll freely, otherwise it's laggy as it's still loading things.

Find the app(s) you would like to uninstall and click it, then on the next screen hit "Uninstall", then "OK". It should uninstall and give you a "Uninstall Finished!" screen with an OK button, click it and it brings you back to the list of installed apps. Uninstall more or just go home to exit.

ForPicture/Media Files you need to connect and mount the SD card as a USB drive. Just connect the phone via Mini USB and slide open your notifications once connected, should say something like "USB Connected"...click that then click "Mount". Your PC should start to recognize it and from then you can enter the USB file structure.

There is a folder in mine named "download". Open it and delete said file(s), exit out of the folder. Before disconnecting the Eris from the USB you must "Unmount" it. Open your notifications again, click "Turn off USB Storage", then click "Turn Off". Disconnect it and your done, files should be removed. Don't delete anything else as they are photos you took or files for the apps you've downloaded that have access to the SD card.

You can also use that folder to put files into directly from your PC for use on the phone, like PDF's, for music files go under "media" then "audio", create a folder named "music" if there isn't one....put music in there of course :).

Hope this helps.
