Question about
How can you change how often webclips refresh in OS X's Dashboard?
I recently decided to try using some webclips in OS X's Dashboard to show me relevant data from various webpages on gdgt (ah hem, RP anyone?). Is there a way to change how often the webclip gets update?
It's basically displayed the same thing all day (which is now wildly inaccurate). I know when Apple originally promoted this feature (hah, remember when they were excited about Dashboard?), they said people could use it to keep track of the weather, sports scores, etc. It sounds nice in theory. If it was updated more frequently, then it'd be really nice. Any tips or suggestions?

I don't think you can change the rate in which the webclips refresh, but if you want to refresh it manually, you can do so by using this keyboard shortcut:

Hm. Interesting, never thought about this. I've only used this feature once for a google spreadsheet doc that doesn't change (and so I don't have to open a program to view the document). I don't see an option to set a refresh rate.
I can't actually say I use my dashboard all that often. I use it on occasion, but most of the widgets that load in there are pretty useless for me :) Why the crap would I want to play that sliding numbers game anyway?
Of course, the dashboard just hasn't found a spot in my workflow either, so I could really be missing out.
