Question about
How can I unlock the HTC Titan without having to contact ATT?
So earlier tonight I won an HTC Titan at the Windows Phone Inner Circle Tour. So far I'm loving the phone but, unfortunately, I'm on T-Mobile. Unless I'll be able to unlock the phone easily, I'll just be using this as a nice Zune device.
Do any of y'all know how to unlock this phone without going through ATT?
If I absolutely have to go through ATT, how lenient is ATT with unlocking phones? Do I need to be an ATT customer to unlock this phone?

No, you don't have to go through AT&T to get an unlock code. I'm sure you can get an unlock code on eBay in no time.

While I've never tried the eBay route, I'd be leery of purchasing such a service that way, if only for the fact that they could take your money and give you a bum code.
Since the phone was not subsidized by AT&T, I doubt they would give you much in the way of problems unlocking it. I would go to a store rather than calling them though. The store clerks are always super helpful, in my experience. The phone customer support techs, not so much.
Oh, and AT&T won't charge you like eBay would. Well, they shouldn't, anyway.
