Question about
How can I make applications maximize to the full screen size?
One of the only things that bothers me about Mac OSX's GUI is that when I like the "+" button to maximize a window, it doesn't maximize the window to the full screen width and height. I know it sounds bad to say that I would like it to work like Windows, but my question is: Is there any way to change this behavior?

You can get Windows 7-like snapping when you drag a window to the top of the screen by installing BetterTouchTool. Google for it.

The plus sign DOES maximize the windows. It sizes the window based on the amount of content being displayed by that application. It just wont stretch the window the show empty space.
