How can I get my PS3 to play full 3D movies?

I got a 3D LED Samsung TV that comes with a free BD 3D movie. I wanna try out the TV's 3D capability but my PS 3 does not support 3D viewing. Is there a software update or any of the sort that I can do?

The PS3's 3D capabilities came via a system update, so make sure you've got the latest version. Go to Settings > System Update. Should be the first one on the top. Alternatively, to use 3D I'm *fairly* certain you need an HDMI connection, so make sure you're using that and not the included red, white, and yellow cables. I could be wrong though.

Update your console's software to the latest and check if all cables are well connected. Then just put the 3D Blu-ray into your PS3. It plays like a regular 2D Blu-ray movie.
