How can I connect two external monitors to a 17in Macbook Pro?
My desk setup currently consists of my Macbook Pro with a 24in ASUS VE245 plugged into my DVI-out port in via DisplayPort. I would absolutely love to be able to hook up another 24in monitor.

Does your MBP 17" have an actual DVI port or is it mini DisplayPort or Thunderbolt?

The only option I can think of would be an external usb display adapter. They are commonly found vga, and your would have to check for one that supports the resolution you need.

While not applicable to your situation, newer MacBook Pros equipped with Thunderbolt and with discrete graphics (not the integrated Intel graphics) can support up to two external Thunderbolt displays.
