The pogo plug doesn't come with a drive by default. You have to add your own external drive.

Yes you can connect multiple drives to it. I have connected 3 including a usb key, a 1tb hard drive and a 6tb drobo and they all showed up. I am not sure if there is a maximum number of drives that can be used. You should be able to connect a usb hub to it to add more drives but i haven't done that myself.
