Question about
Headphones issue
okay so I have my headphones plugged in while im at work so i can listen to my music and such. I've noticed that even though the headphones are plugged in when i get an email the sound still comes from the phone speaker, anyone else encountering this?
I noticed this for the first time today when I was at the gym! I don't know how long it has been lasting but how can it be fixed?! :(

I am not having this problem. Maybe there is something in the settings that needs fixed.

Ok. I have the new HTC Droid Incredible. So, I don't know if this will help you at all. Hit your MENU button and hit SETTINGS. Look for SOUND AND DISPLAY. Then click on RINGER VOLUME. Uncheck the box that says, "Use incoming call volume for notifications." Now, you should be able to adjust the notification volume so that it can hardly be heard while your headphones are in. NOTE: This lowers the volume that that you hear through your headphones as well. Also, I have not found a way to have the alert completely turned off externally and still be able to hear them with your headphones on. I do hope this helps some.
