Question about
HDMI audio
Is anybody having trouble with the HDMI audio? Every once in awhile the sound gets scratchy and cuts in and out. If i pause the video for a few seconds it goes away. At first i thought it was the cheap 10' cable, not so. Tried drivers, still present. I think it may be my set up as i can not find anybody else having this issue. Just curious before i go pick up an optical audio cable to see if that helps.
I haven't had the same issue. I did update the drivers to the newest (at the time) nVidia stuff to better support Flash 10.1 beta. Doing so broke HDMI Audio. It would not show up as an available audio device in the sound control panel of Win XP. Going back to the previous drivers fixed the problem. Very frustrating!

Thanks for the input! I did notice over the past few days it was only occurring while watching hulu with the desktop app. Havent tried it in the browser. Maybe its a flash thing? we will see when flash is updated. I did roll back the audio drivers and it seems to not do it as often. This is not a deal breaker for me, to have a low powered system in such a small form factor outweighs the slight annoyance IMO. I will update if any new developments come up.

I have noticed the same issue on my 3610 (Windows 7). I have noticed it playing Recorded TV through Media Center (recorded on another Windows 7 PC and shared via HomeGroup) and I have noticed it using the Revision3 app in Boxee. Haven't tried updating drivers yet. If anyone discovers the solution please let us know!
