Question about
peter

Having an issue connecting my 24-inch Dell LCD to my new iMac, am hoping it's just an issue with the mini DisplayPort adapter.

Tried it with two different DVI cables and another monitor and have the exact same problem: the iMac can detect the monitor (like see that an external monitor is detected, what kind it is, etc) and even let me arrange position and all that, but no picture is viewable on the external monitor.

Guess I'll make a run to Best Buy or the Apple Store for a replacement, anyone else encountered a similar problem?
