Yes. It was very easy. I have CyanogenMod 7 on it now, and it works like a charm. The phones name is Bravo on cyanogenmods sites.

Yes, easy. Try LeeDroid, a nice custom ROM with Sense. You can find it at XDA.

Yes, and it's simple. Tried CyanogenMod, tried some Sense-stuff but ended up using Oxygen for quite some time now. Like it very much, too.
Saved me from buying that Nexus S..

Yup CyanogenMod for a brief while, and now GingerVillain (I think its based on oxygen with some CM7 tweaks, best of both worlds)
Easy enough following online instructions, theres a massive rom community out there

Yeah. There's a simple all-in-one thread on XDA that just has everything you need to know and makes life so much easier for you.

I'm personally a really big fan of LeeDroid. I tried CM7 for a while, but I felt it lacked the stability that Sense UI adds. It was miles faster though, if that's what you're looking for. And switching to the stock UI instead of Sense takes a while to get used to, but both worlds are pretty freaking awesome once you get used to them.

Yes, currently using Oxygen 2.3 on my bravoc. Had CM7 (stable) at first, but it crashed to much so i switched to Oxygen, then it was 2.2.1. Also used Miui experimental builds for a while but they didn't leave enough space for apps and stuff so I went back to Oxygen. It is very stable, doesn't use a ton of space, plus it has most of the good stuff from CM7.
