Just got my hands on a Sonos for the first time this weekend and wow, it's pretty awesome! Looking at different sorts of software that will let me control the unit throughout the house. One thing I was interested in was some sort of server software that would let me control the Sonos unit from my Chromebook (you know, just in case my iPhone was out of reach and I needed to pause a song or something).
Stumbled upon this:
www.purple.org/sonos/
Seems pretty slick -- I just need to have a box that's always on to install it. Has anyone tried it out? Does it work well or are there stability issues that I need to watch out for?
Question about
Has anyone tried using the Sonos Web Controller software?
