Question about
Has anyone seen anything saying that Gingerbread is coming to the Streak? Seems to meet all of the minimal specs..
I could see it getting the update but probably not until well after its release. Dell really slathered on a pretty ugly skin that they'll have to update once Gingerbread is released.

The "minimal specs" have since been debunked as hogwash by Google. I wouldn't worry about them for now.

According to XDA forum posts, DJ Steve has built and released: "gingerstreak." There are some compatibility issues, (You need to flash the dev. base band) but it seems to work much smoother than the froyo build.
