Question about
Has anyone noticed taking a picture of yourself using the front facing camera inverts the picture?
Try this: go to the camera and select the front facing camera. Hold your right hand up and snap the picture. Go into your photo album. When you view the picture, it will look like your left hand is up.
I understand it may be flipping the picture due to the fact the camera is facing towards you, but why would it preview one way and take the actual photo the opposite way?

If the picture it shows while previewing is the opposite of the one which is saved, it is the expected behavior. Apple previews a mirror image (which we are used to when looking at ourselves in a live image), but it's probably not what you expect to have in the saved image, right?

That's really bizarre... I have no idea why they would do that... seems it flips the video from the front facing camera as well... that's not quite as easy to fix as a flipped image.

Macs have always done this and I find it very obnoxious. I think Apple does it so that when you're looking at yourself on the screen, it looks more like a mirror and you don't have to think about your actions being inverted. So much for accuracy.
