Question about
Has anyone installed Mac OSX on they're Thinkpad T30? I've got Ubuntu 10.04 running great on mine already.
I'm just looking for something more user friendly, cuz I'm real tired of Windows' $$$.
Hey, oospunkey, sorry for my late response, I don't check this blog as often as I should. I'm running 10.04 on my system, but if you prefer the feel of MacOSX, before you jump the gun and try to install OSX, I recommend you give GOS a try. It's based off of an older version of Ubuntu, and it's worth noting that it hasn't been updated in a while. Last I tried, it was stable enough, although there was the occasional app freezing up.
Heres the link, its based off of Ubuntu 8.04, so give it a try and see it the drivers work for your system.

Thanks for the suggestion. I love trying out new OSs'. I do need a hackintosh for the compatibility so I can make a media center. Most of my media is in iTunes and I think that working in an OSX native environment would make it that much easier. I don't suppose that you have any links that would help me out. I think that 10.04 would work just fine. Please and thank you.
