Has anyone had theirs overheat and not play sound now?

I had mine in a thick, black, bicep strap case while I was out on a run and it overheated simply from long duration of use and direct sunlight. Apple refuses to replace it and it now only works for a minute after I put it in the freezer for some time. It's quite frustrating.

No. Oh my gosh that's crazy! Maybe you should move to Antarctica so you can use it more? Just a thought...
