Have you checked XDA? I think I remember seeing something about work with webtop.

I have yet to hear a final word on whether or not they have made progress.
That being said, if you have rooted your device, get LazyDroid Server - it does essentially the same things, plus more and does it far better.

You can run Ubuntu, and you can partition a microSD card to move webtop off the internal memory. Yeah, check xda-developers, all the info you could ever want about webtop is there.
