Has anyone ever had a dud?
I tried a competitor and it didn't work at all. I'm hesitant to drop any money on this if there's a possibility that it just won't work.

I have had this for a good year to a year and a half and had no problems what so ever with the thing.
and now that you can buy it Best Buy and even some Apple stores i think it makes it an easier buy since if it don't work you can take it right back.
They also have an iPhone and an Android app that you can use plus the website.
it also syncs up run keeper and i think Microsoft health.
