Has anyone else noticed a significant performance hit after updating to iOS 5?

No issues here after updating my first-gen iPad to iOS 5, in fact it seems to run a little smoother and webpages load faster. If you did an upgrade instead of a full restore, try backing up with iTunes and then doing a complete reinstall. Whenever I run into the post-update woes, this usually fixes it.

I updated my iPad 2 to iOS 5 after much hesitation and I haven't had any issues. Though, this might be because I have the faster iPad 2.
