Graphics card confusion????

in the graphics spec, it says that there is an option of dual 2GB ATI Radeon HD 6970. Does it mean in total 4GB of dedicated memory for gaming. I am confused with the RAM since I am selecting the 8GB 1333MHz. Is the 4GB memory for the graphics card taken from the 8GB RAM or it is separate all together?

VRAM is separate from regular RAM. So yes, you would have 8GB of regular RAM on top of 4GB of video RAM.
