Hey,
Welcome aboard! :)
I believe the best way for new users to learn about the Mac is to check these video tutorials: www.apple.com/findouthow/mac/
There is even one about moving in from a PC.
If you need more help, you can try these support manuals:
support.apple.com/manuals/
and these additional video tutorials: support.apple.com/videos/
Don't you hesitate to ask us some more questions if you have some!
Good luck :)

Apple offers a great guide on the ins and outs of Lion: www.apple.com/macosx/whats-new/
As per your question regarding moving windows to the next screen, you simply need to activate Mission Control (default three fingers up on a Magic Trackpad or click the button in your dock for Mission Control), move your mouse to the top right corner, and click the + tab that jumps out. That will allow you to create another desktop and then you just have to drag your windows to the right edge now and it will move on to that desktop.
If you have any other specific questions that the Apple site doesn't answer, feel free to ask here.

Tips for giving the best answers
Sometimes it's just little details that separates a great and not so great answer! Here are a few simple tips to keep in mind:
- 1
- Be complete and thorough. Don't skimp on the details!
- 2
- Try not to answer with a question. Because that's not really an answer, right?
- 3
- A little research goes a long way. Back up your claims and assumptions!
- 4
- Try to be patient, tech questions can be complicated.
