Google Gears in the Browser

I have one of these for work and was looking at testing Google Gears, however it doesn't seem to have it, nor can you install it - what gives? I thought all Android devices would support Gears.

Did you check in the browser settings, Open the browser>Menu>More>Settings>and at the very bottom there are the settings for Gears, i think you have to activate it that way in order for it to work.

Hmm thanks deinfinityx - it looks like its enabled by default but doesn't seem to be working too well (at least the WorkerPool doesn't work).

No prob, the only place i have gotten it to work is Google homepage but i have a loose understanding on gears anyway. But i don't think its full implemented on Android yet, hopefully with the 2.0 update and the improvements to the browser we should see more of a full fledged browser.
