Getting Online

My DS can't detect my Wi-Fi network, even when I stand right next to my router while holding the system. Other devices in my house have no problem connecting wirelessly. Does anyone know something I can try?

Question #1: Is your Wi-Fi encrypted?

If yes, is the encryption WEP or WPA?

If it's WPA, the DS won't be able to connect.

It can connect to WEP.

I gonna try changing the channel of my router. When ever a cordless phone rings my computer loses the connection to it anyway. Does anyone have a channel to recommend to solve both problems?

I do not like that I have to use weaker wifi encryption to get my DS to work with it.

I know this is old, but I just happened to run across it. If you have your SSID hidden or not broadcasting, that could be part of the problem.
