If you don't have the new 4.7.0.148 update yet you will probably hate this phone.
Also to help with battery life turn off blue tooth if you don't use it.

Also another FYI, if you used a "leaked" update in the past your Storm won't update over the air. I ran into that problem a couple of weeks ago, and I own a Mac so it made it even more difficult to update due to the fact that RIM doesn't have Desktop Manager software for Apple.

I have the .148 update on Verizon. The phone is still horrible. The sure press screen is it's fault, that's why the Storm 2 is not going to have it. It takes too long to type on the screen w/it, and slows the usage of the entire phone down. No sure press, no probs IMO.

One thing that really tees me off is that you can't update the phone with a Mac... this isn't 2000 anymore, yes people do actually use OSX, RIM try to actually make some decent software for us. Also no OTA update for Bell in Canada, so i am forced to spend a couple hours setting up a parallels instance of XP to update my phone... not impressed.
