Galaxy Nexus or iPhone 4S?

I wanted to buy myself an iPhone, but then I saw the advert. of Samsung Galaxy Nexus on the tv and I started wondering wich phone is better? I know they are hardly comparable because of the different OS they are using. But wich of the phones would you prefer to have or already have?

well it all depends what your doing. The iphone is limited in its ability (no file browser, not as much acces to the overall system) but you get a very nice design and a pretty solid os, with the only gaping flaw being a lack of overall features. With the nexus you get a massive display, which i must say makes it a very good competitor to the iphone, and you can do a lot more with your android, just from overall customizations to things like easily making word documents and downloading files from any source. Ultimately i have to recommend the iphone just because iOS 5 is very solid, it very rarely crashes, and it does many of the tasks you need to do easily, and with an intuitive interface.

Are you already wrapped into one of the ecosystems? Do you buy all your music, movies, and tv shows in iTunes? Do you use all of Google's services?

This is sort of like asking, "should I get a BMW or Mercedes?" They are the 2 best phones on the market today (by a wide margin). I would have gone with the Nexus S, if it were out on AT&T when I was looking(I'm under contract from my wife's iPhone 4) . I have been pretty happy with the 4s up to last week, then the jailbreak came out and now I am in love again. In summary, you need to look at which specs and features are most important to you and go from there, but I don't think you can go wrong with either phone.

No I'm not wrapped to neither one of these. I use more google products than apple's, gmail, google earth etc. I don't use iTunes for now. One of my main usues is the touch screen of the Nexus phone, I know the iphone has one of the greatest touches ever, but I have never tried galaxy nexus so I do not know if the screen reacts slower or if I have to tap stronger on the screen to react. The things that are important to me are the speed of browsing trough the phone and to support as much more apps as possible, but I think that androin and ios have probably the same number of apps. :/

I already own an iPhone 4. So I don't care more about iPhone 4S. If I were you, I'd try Galaxy Nexus, since it is definitely the best Android phone in the market currently. See more tech specs and what people say about Galaxy Nexus here: www.tune4mac.com/mac-dvd-converter/dvd-to-galaxy-n...

iPhone 4S. Google and Android app developers continue their massive inconsistency with their development that it seems iOS or a vertically integrated OS is the way to go, such as Windows Phone, or much lower on the "capable" scale, BB OS. I recommend iOS for its tighter experience. The HTML5 advancements captured by iOS's browser reduces the "importance" of flash and web developers' increasing trend in developing HTML5-based apps will make iOS that much more important. While I am turned off by the strict app policies, I am mostly unaffected by it. If you don't live on your phone and with your head up your ____, you'll do fine with an iPhone 4S. Windows Phone, while not as captive of HTML5 yet as iOS 5, is also a decent option, if you're on AT&T.
