Free Online Photography Classes?

I'm a bit of a self learner. For anyone who has a DSLR, could you recommend some online websites that may offer really helpful tutorials, video instructions, or perhaps even free classes? Any ideas? I'm a very beginner photographer at the moment so what do you recommend for basic and even intermediate learning?

This came highly recommended to me: www.alexandrebuisse.org/resources/photo-class

I haven't had a chance to go through it yet but it looks pretty good.

I've used stackoverflow, a Q&A site for programming, for a while and have really enjoyed the community. They offer a photography oriented Q&A site as well, photo.stackexchange.com/. If it's anything like stackoverflow it should be very helpful.

Tips for giving the best answers

Sometimes it's just little details that separates a great and not so great answer! Here are a few simple tips to keep in mind:

1
Be complete and thorough. Don't skimp on the details!
2
Try not to answer with a question. Because that's not really an answer, right?
3
A little research goes a long way. Back up your claims and assumptions!
4
Try to be patient, tech questions can be complicated.
