Question about
For those that have the Galaxy Nexus, is Google Voice updated for ICS?
I'm wondering if Google Voice looks any better on ICS and if it functions any better as well. If it's updated for ICS, does it have the action across the top? Also, does it allow for batch operations?

Here is a screenshot of the basic page in ICS. (with personal info blacked out).
The basic function of the app is all the same, it just has a little visual upgrade with the action bar and things.

That's a good question...The Google Voice app was always a little rough around the edges...It would be a great opportunity for them to update it for ICS, especially since they just had that little update earlier this week...The Voice app has the potential to do so much more and be integrated into the phone so much better than the way it is now...IMO the Voice app seems like a third party app instead of a Google app that comes already loaded up in the phone...It may be the only Google app that hasn't seen an ICS conversion update too (I may be missing a few others though)...Any word on if the HSPA+ version of the Nexus is coming over to the states soon?

I think that only one conclusion can be had. The Voice app was pretty cutting edge in the beginning but now it seems archaic because it has not evolved along with the rest of Android. I think this is intentional, Google has been showing signs for years of wanting to integrate it with Gmail and so as they prepare for that there is no reason to put a lot of resources into something they know is going to be integrated into another product. Think how nice it will be when you have a true universal inbox. If Voice has been stagnate in its development then Gmail has been evolving at light speed. They do what they do like I play chess they are talking about 5 years from now right now because everything that is being executed today was figured out 5 years ago.
