Question about
Favorite Apps?
Very simply, for those who have the Iphone4 or 4s, what have been your most useful 1 or 2 apps? They can be either free or paid. I just really want to know what apps others use to greatly improve their daily lives? Any suggestions?

Shazam - for detecting songs that you hear somewhere and you want to know the title.
Flipboard - for killing free time - beautiful display of Facebook, Twitter, other social network feeds, RSS reader streams, etc. - all in one place.
Viber and WhatsApp - for free communication with my friends over WiFi or cell network (data rates may apply if you are not on unlimited data plan). Chat, pics, calls, group chats.

A really cool app if you are studying/want to study Japanese is "Kotoba" its waaaay better than the basic translators. Its main function is a dictionary and one of the best features is the Kanji dictionary. you can find the kanji (Chinese characters) really easy by selecting the radicals, in the symbol. its big though. all the data is saved on the phone so it takes up half a gig. its free too.
-probably my favorite app right now.

First by a long distance is Evernote. It may take a while before you understand how it best fits in but this has been a huge life changer for me. I love this product so much I started a website where users can leave tips and tricks for Evernote www.appvancement.com/Category/Evernote .
Second app would be Instapaper. It costs a few buck now but this is a great app and well worth the price. Again it may take a few uses to understand how it can help but it has changed the way I read on the internet.
Finally there is StreamToMe which can be set up on iPhone but is better on iPad. It can stream movies from your computer to your device via your wifi. Virtually every file format supported.

I suspect everyone's list is different.
I like:
Waze for showing me traffic on my commute.
LogMeIn ignition for remotely controlling my home computer.
Poker Pals (replaced Words with Friends) for quick gaming when you have a minute.
Podcaster for downloading podcasts to listen to on my commute. Lots of people like InstaCast or iCatcher or Downcast but I like listening at 1.3x speed (not too fast, but you get a little more in than otherwise) and its the only one I've seen with this level of control.
Echofon for following Twitter.
Facebook for ... Facebook.
Pulse News for watching RSS feeds and Flipboard for reading news shared on Facebook or Twitter.
Secret! for storing my personal info encrypted.
XMarks and LastPass for keeping track of bookmarks and passwords for websites and synchronizing them with my desktop browsers.
Virtual Card for creating temporary disposable credit card numbers.
CamCard for scanning business cards.
Weightbot for keeping track of my weight.
Lots of different photo manipulation apps. I'll just mention AutoStitch.
Flixster for getting movie times. RunPee for figuring out when to go pee.
Air Video for playing back movies from my home PC on the go.
What's On for the TV schedule.
HBO Go for watching... HBO.
Action Movie for creating some cool movie effects.
Shazam, Pandora, MOG, This American Life, gMusic, Navigon, TripIt, FlightCaster, Gate Guru, Open Table, Yelp, Point Inside, Park Place, XE, Amazon, ESPN ScoreCenter, Scrabble, Fruit Ninja, Cut the Rope, Trainyard, Dropbox, Carbonite, iBackup, SpiderOak, Speed Test, Find iPhone, Merge Dupes, MeasureCam, Lumin, Toddler Tap, Bee Book, Musical Hands, Uncolor...
