External hard drive or enclosure that allows direct transfer from USB/SD card

I am trying to find an external hard drive which will allow me to dump the contents of either an SD card or a USB stick (an SD card in a USB adapter in reality) directly onto it without the need for a computer. I have recently gotten a Canon EOS Rebel T3 and am taking many many pictures. It would be far more convenient if I could simply dump all of the photos directly onto an external hard drive instead of involving my laptop every time. I don't have a necessity to pick out photos off to card, just move all of them off the card.

Extra bonus to anyone who can find a hard drive that has this feature and allows me to connect to my TV as well for viewing photos and movies.

THANKS!

A slightly out of the box answer. I use a product called eye-fi. It is an SD card that has wi-fi built in to the actual SD card. When you take a picture it shoots the images or movies to the cloud, pc etc depending on how you set it up. It needs a device to accept the transfer. This might help hopefully, but is cool none the less.
