Question about
Every few weeks my Droid Incredible loses all my text messages. I open the messages app, and everything is blank. Has anyone else had this problem?
Hopefully this doesn't double post (I think there was a short error message the first time I tried this.) Disappearing text messages seem to be an unresolved issue. You can see a little more info here: www.incredibleforum.com/forum/new-member-introduct.... There are a number of SMS backup apps on the Market that might reduce some of the headache.

I've had similar issues that seem to be related to memory errors caused by the bundled apps (Peep, Messages, etc.). If you don't mind tinkering you could flash a custom ROM on to your Incredible- that fixed the problem for me. If you don't want to do that clearing the cache for the bundled apps also seems to work. If you aren't getting the low memory bug (see here www.zdnet.com/blog/google/have-i-solved-my-droid-i...) then that probably won't work and my advice is probably useless :-) For what it's worth the two bugs seemed to be linked on my phone.

A friend of mine had their Incredible hacked mysteriously. Seems like spyware got onto her phone and she's ditzy so asking her what the hell happened wouldn't produce any understandable reason. When she finally took it to the Verizon store they told her that it has been happening a lot to Android phones. Seems like a big downfall of open source...
