Earpieces getting stuck in my ears! Help?!

Sometimes, when I remove them, the silicone tips get left behind in my ears, which is annoying, but I can always grab them and get them out. Any ideas about how to prevent this? I don't want to glue them on, they need to be removed in order to change the filters.

I find the foamy type of sleeves stay attached better than the silicone ones. They're also a bit more bulky so you can get a better grasp when you pull them out.
They seem to retain their shape a bit better, whereas once the silicone ones have been in your ears for an hour or two and warmed up they become a lot softer and looser.

I always try and take them out in a gentle twisty sort of motion, like i'm unscrewing them rather than just pulling too.
