Mine only really gets warm when it is charging which, to be honest, is to be expected. Haven't really noticed any overheating when using it, although I only really use it for light browsing/email/twitter facebook etc.

Mine gets hot when I use it for a data connection for a couple of hours (I noticed this when travelling the other week) or when it's charging.

Check what is using up the resources - 1. Check the battery usage and 2. running applications. Mine gets somewhat hot while charging but never found it hot enough to get me concerned.

mine used to get hot while charging and while using. to the extent that the motherboard melted. not once but twice. give it back to them before you run out of warranty.
