Question about
Does this thing get hot? I have a unibody 15" MBP and it burns me every now and then. Definitely meant to only be placed on a desk.
I'd love a 13" MBA!

Right now, not particularly.
But as with my Rev.C's, I'll reserve judgement until late spring. I commute to the south of France often and all my previous Airs have overheated into stuttery annoyance come May/June-ish, while everything else non-Apple I own barely breaks a sweat.

I happen to own both laptops in question and in comparison, yes, the MBA does get quite hot when pushed... the only time I push mine would be during hi-def flash playback or streaming and converting video simultaneously using zumocast. in those cases, the MBA gets nearly as hot as my MBP15, but it also cools down much faster than my MBP once the stress is off.
aside from that, it'll burn me for the same reasons, but it won't get hot with basic web surfing or email. when it's not being stressed, it runs cooler than my MBP.
