Does this come with a slim USB receptor that goes directly into the USB port (like a pen drive) or is it cabled?

No, it's not slim. It comes with a wireless adapter, but the adapter itself is wired. It's pretty useless. They need to update this mouse. Cuz I bought it thinking it had one at least the size of a flash drive and that wasn't the case. DO NOT buy this mouse, ever...
