Does the Voice Dication feature of the new iPad work for all text fields?

I don't own an iPad (I carry around the original Samsung 7" Galaxy Tab) but would consider buying the new iPad if I could do voice searches, etc.

I believe so. On my iPhone 4S the voice dictation is available on every keyboard screen I've seen and I imagine it would be the same for the new iPad.
