Does the TMobile G2X have built in tethering, a la the Nexus One and Nexus S, stock Android implementation?

I've asked this on several different sites, and I keep hearing that it does have built in tethering, or at least wifi tethering, but T-Mo's site does imply that it isn't free, like the Nexus S/One. So you might have to pay extra monthly for it.

i have this device, and the wifi hotspot feature does function without any extra charge. this seems to be the case with all the phones that have stock android
