Question about
Does anyone know what if anything about this laptop is incompatible with windows 7? I ask, because right now I cannot use my right click in firefox.
I have tried several installs of firefox and it does not work regardless. So with that in mind, I am wondering if any other incompatibilities exist.

I own this very laptop and Windows 7 64-bit, and I have right-click available. Have you tried re-downloading the drivers for the track pad/mouse buttons?

Try lanny's suggestion: Unload the current driver and re-install the downloaded version after a reboot. For me W7 install went without a hitch and Dell also confirmed that W7 compatibility was not an issue.

Could be a driver issue... Make sure you installed the correct drivers, be they for 32/64 bit.
