Question about
Does anyone know if I can upgrade the internal drive to an SATA drive?
I've had a go at doing that with a different make/model external drive. It was technically possible, but bloody hard. While the internal drive was standard, The case wasn't designed to be taken apart, and it was an absolute pain to get at. I ended up breaking the case and being unable to re-assemble it properly... the usb connection did work though.
My recommendation is to do a LOT of googleing beforehand so you know EXACTLY what you are getting yourself into, but it's probably more trouble than its worth.
