Question about

Does anyone know how to prevent my Mac from showing the dock over fullscreen things (like fullscreen YouTube or Hulu) ?

Whenever I try to launch a web based playback fullscreen my dock stays over the video and won't go away. Does anyone know how to solve this?

This happens to me every now and then. I can't figure out a pattern to it. Usually going out of fullscreen and then back in, even a couple times, will fix it. I blame Flash.

What version OS X you running.
I have just tried to recreate this on 10.6.7. I opened up a youtube video clicked full screen. This worked in the following browsers, safari 5.0.5, Chrome 11, FIrefox 4.

Can you give me any other information to help me recreate this issue.
You can also try having your doc autohide.

You can always hide the dock permanently under System Preferences --> Dock.
