Question about
Darthbader

Does anyone know how to make your own NFC commands if you buy your own tags?

I was thinking I would put one in my house to turn on and off wifi when I come and go, I just don't know if it is complicated process.

It's not a complicated process at all. I plan to write a blog post on this at some point, but...

All you have to do is buy is some tags (I went with five of these: www.tagstand.com/collections/type-2-nfc-stickers/p...) and make sure they are NDEF formatted when you purchase them.

There are a couple ways to go about programming the tags, but the easiest is with NFC Task Launcher (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.jwsoft.n...). It's $1.99 in the market and is pretty easy to use. You just select which tasks you want to program to the tag, and then use the app to write to the tag.

Let me know in a reply if you have any other questions.

Another source to look at I found is www.readwriteweb.com/archives/weekend_project_make...

I personally never thought about doing this and it looks to be a fun project and really a helpful one if it works well.
